Southwest Begins New Flights to Mexico, Resumes Caribbean Routes

Southwest Airlines has begun new weekend service between Chicago-Midway and Los Cabos-Cabo San Lucas, the carrier announced this week.

The new flights comes as Southwest has resumed a wave of flights to destinations in both the Caribbean and Mexico for the upcoming season.

Belize continues to see rapid growth.

That includes daily flights from Austin to Cancun; Denver to Puerto Vallarta and from Fort Lauderdale to Belize, Grand Cayman and Turks and Caicos.

Southwest has also resumed weekly seasonal service on Saturdays from Nashville, Columbus and Indianapolis to Cancun.
