Hilton has opened its first-ever hotel in Guatemala.
The brand’s first property in the country is set in the heart of Guatemala City, with 130 rooms in a neo-colonial style.
Amenities include an outdoor pool, two Jacuzzis, two restaurants, a fitness center and about 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space, according to the company.
“We are delighted to welcome Hilton Guatemala City to the brand’s growing portfolio as the first property of Hilton Hotels and Resorts in Guatemala,” said Vera Manoukian, senior vice president and global director of Hilton. “This new Hilton in Latin America represents our continued interest in the region and introduces business and leisure travelers to the service and hospitality of Hilton’s iconic brand.”
The hotel’s culinary offering is anchored by Las Ventanas, with a mix of local and Mediterranean cuisine, accompanied by the Las Cascades bar set in the hotel’s gardens.
“With the debut of Hilton Guatemala City, we presented our guests with high quality accommodations of the brand in a cozy atmosphere, with a decoration and an environment inspired by the local culture”, shared Mariano Beltranena, general manager of Hilton Guatemala City. “We hope to welcome guests to the capital of Guatemala and, at the same time, offer an incomparable location for business and leisure travelers.”
Hilton also has a Hilton Garden Inn property in Guatemala City.
