When it comes to Caribbean culinary events, the star power of Cayman Cookout simply can’t be matched.

Once again, the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman-hosted food extravaganza will be headlined by celebrity chefs Eric Ripert, Anthony Bourdain and Jose Andres.

Created and hosted by Ripert, the co-owner of New York’s iconic Le Bernardin and the flagship Blue by Eric Ripert at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, the eleventh annual edition of Cayman Cookout will take place from Jan. 16-21, 2019.

Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman.

Cookout brings together a collection of chefs, wine and spirit experts and major personalities in the food world in a full-fledged celebration of food and drink, with guests getting the chance to enjoy cooking demos, exclusive tastings and dining events, local tours and beach events, among others.

The event comes as Andres in particular has been expanding his Caribbean footprint, from remarkable recovery work in Puerto Rico to the launch of a new eatery on Paradise Island.

The schedule means travelers can truly interact with the chefs in intimate events, many of which are set on the sands of Seven Mile Beach.

This year, Cayman Cookout will include even more boldfaced names, including Andrew Zimmern, Emeril Lagasse, Yannick, Alleno, Dominique Crenn, Amanda Cohen, Emma Bengtsson and Nancy Silverton.

Reservations for the 2019 edition of Cayman Cookout will begin in the summer.
