A new flight service has launched between Suriname and Barbados.
The flights are operated by an airline called Fly AllWays, which began service from Suriname to Barbados on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The service also includes a scheduled stop in Georgetown, Guyana.
The flights are being operated on Fokker F70 aircraft.
“Fly AllWays will now provide greater opportunities to Barbados and, by extension, the region, and we look forward to what we expect will be a long and mutually beneficial relationship,” said Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism and International Transport, Senator Irene Sandiford-Garner.
It’s the first time there has been scheduled air service from Suriname to Barbados in more than a decade.
