The Bahamas is planning a redevelopment of the Exuma International Airport in Great Exuma, the country’s government said this week.
Work is already underway for the planned redevelopment of the airport in Great Exuma, with design works being completed for an expanded terminal and runway, along with a new fire station.
Infrastructural works on the Exuma Airport project are slated to launch by the end of this year, the government said in a statement.
The airport currently receives scheduled commercial flights service from carriers including Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Silver airways and Bahamasair, among others.
