Travelers looking for a getaway this summer will find plenty of luxurious options in Jamaica, from suites that have hosted diplomats and celebrities to cottages built into the lush natural landscape.

Jamaica Inn

The White Suite at Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios, set upon its own peninsula, boasts “unmatched privacy” and 1,996 square feet of space.

The large bedroom, sitting area, private pool, and expansive private grounds once played host to the likes of Winston Churchill.

Rates for the suite start at $1,159 per night.

Goldeneye, located in Oracabessa on the north coast of Jamaica, is home to the Lagoon Cottages, which are built into the natural landscape with direct access to a four-acre lagoon.

Each cottage has a private deck extending over the lagoon, as well as a kayak for guests to explore.

Just steps from Low Cay Beach, the location is ideal for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the island’s natural beauty.

Rates for GoldenEye cottages start at $620 per night.

The Caves, the famous all-inclusive boutique resort located in Negril, derives its name from the sea caves upon which it is set.

Among its 12 custom-designed Cliffside cottages, guests can choose to book the Clandestino Private Villa for an especially luxurious experience.

The 3,500 square foot villa is nestled in the property’s lush tropical jungle, offering maximum privacy.

Made of wood and stone with a thatched-roof, Clandestino is fashioned in the style of the natural beauty of Negril.

The three-bedroom, four-bathroom villa also features a private swimming pool.

Rates start at $480 per night.
