Hilton Worldwide has added another new property in the Caribbean.
The company has announced the signing of the Indura Beach & Golf Resort in Honduras to its Curio — A Collection By Hilton portfolio.
The 60-suite beach and golf resort is Curio’s first property in Honduras and its first in the Western Caribbean.
The hotel will be officially joining the collection in July.
“Indura Beach & Golf Resort is a fantastic addition to our portfolio,” said Ted Middleton, senior vice president, development – Latin America, Hilton Worldwide. “We look forward to continuing to provide what Curio guests are looking for: Hotels with character and personality in spectacular destinations around the globe.”
The property is home to Honduras’ first championship 18-hole golf course, designed by Gary Player and overseen by Troon Golf.
The property includes five restaurants and a spa.
“Indura Beach & Golf Resort is a luxurious high-end resort in Honduras, and we are thrilled to partner with Hilton Worldwide,” said Camilo Atala, president of Fondo Hondureño de Inversión Turística. “Our relationship with Hilton will allow us to reach more guests looking for an authentic, unique and upscale Central American experience.”
Hilton has been stepping up the growth of the Curio brand, adding two hotels in Jamaica in the last year as well.
