She joins the property after most recently working at the Presidente InterContinental Cancun resort.

“Nathalie’s experience and proven track record operating world class resorts will be instrumental to the long-term success of W Vieques, one of the most unique properties in the Starwood portfolio worldwide,” said Jean-Marc Janod, Vice-president of Operations, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Latin America and Caribbean. “We are thrilled to welcome her to our team, and are certain that under her leadership W Vieques will reinforce its position as the leading hotel in the island.”

Urban’s previous stints include Hyatt Hyatt Hotels & Resorts EAME Divisional Marketing Center in Switzerland, and Hyatt Regency La Manga in Spain, among others.

The 156-room W Vieques is located on the island of Vieques, a short flight from mainland Puerto Rico.
