While you might consider every Caribbean beach its own kind of water park, a new project in St Lucia is offering its own take.

The Splash Island Water Park is slated to open soon in St Lucia as the Caribbean’s first-ever “open-water sports park.”

The project will be located on Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay Village, which is also the location of the Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa.

It will include everything from a climbing wall and a trampoline to water volleyball and hurdles, among other features.

The project is slated to open in August, according to the company’s Web site.
