Wyndham Hotel Group has named Josh Lesnick as the company’s new chief marketing officer, the company announced Tuesday.

Lesnick will be responsible for “the company’s brand, loyalty and online marketing; e-commerce; global sales; hotel system strategy; and revenue management functions,” according to a company release.

“We are all very excited to welcome Josh, an established marketing leader and loyalty expert, to the Wyndham family,” said Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO of Wyndham Hotel Group. ““With the launch of our first-ever Wyndham Hotel Group marketing campaign that showcases the diversity across our powerhouse Super 8, Days Inn and many other iconic brands, it is a very exciting time for our organization as we invest in new consumer and distribution marketing campaigns that are driving record numbers to our Wyndham Rewards websites. Josh’s background, experience and expertise in this field is perfect for us now to help build on this momentum.”

Lesnick comes to the company from Audience Rewards, a Broadway-focused company where he had been serving as president and CEO for the last six years.

His previous positions in the industry have included stints at Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Hyatt Hotel Corporation.
