The Caribbean’s largest resort project is starting to take shape.

The 2,200-room Baha Mar resort project on the Bahamian island of New Providence is on track for a planned December 2014 opening.

And construction continues to move swiftly, according to new aerial photos released by the project.

The resort will have four hotel properties: one branded as a Baha Mar, one Grand Hyatt, a Rosewood and a Mondrian.

In July, Baha Mar announced that general managers had been named for each of the properties.

The resort’s 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course is scheduled to open in February 2014.
