Following a second-place finish in the men’s 100M last week, Usain Bolt stormed back into the victory lane on Thursday in Oslo, easily taking the men’s 200M in a stirring 19.79 seconds.

The finish was a meet record at the ExxonMobil Bislett Games in Norway. Bolt was followed by Norway’s Jaysuma Saidy Ndure and Great Britain’s James Ellington, who finished second and third, respectively.

Bolt is the first runner this year to break 20 seconds in the 200M.

It was a stirring reminder that Bolt indeed remains the world’s sprinting superstar.

And he was true to his word following his finish in Rome last week, after which he vowed “#iwillbeback” on Twitter.

It could be a sign that the Trelawny native is starting to heat up for a strong summer.
