Caribbean Room With a View: A Suite at the JW Marriott Cancun

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 10, 2013

IT’S REALLY the beaches that are the true stars of Mexico’s tourism hub of Cancun, with its power-soft white sand and bright turquoise slice of the Caribbean Sea.

And you can see all of it from the Caribbean Suite at the AAA Five-Diamond JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa, a longtime favourite of travelers to Cancun that actually boasts a total of 448 ocean-view rooms (and a 35,000-square-foot “Mayan Inspired Spa.”

The Caribbean Suite has 957 square feet, with separate living and dining rooms, a pair of balconies, a king bed and a sofabed.

It’s located in the middle of two wings that face the resort’s vast pool, with views of the ocean and the lagoon.

The bathroom is more spacious that some New York City apartments: double sinks, a bathtub and a separate shower.

But most of the time you spend in your room will be on the balcony (don’t worry — just have the room service attendant set you up outside), marveling at Cancun’s natural wonders.

Enjoy the view.
