Looking for a taste of Jamaica in Miami? Look no further than Talde, a restaurant and bar at Miami Beach resort The Confidante (formerly The Thompson), where the “Buju Brunchton” Jamaican Barbecue kicks off on Saturday, May 14 at 1pm.

The third in the restaurant’s series of music-themed monthly brunches, Buju Brunchton will feature a $30 all-you-can-eat jerk bar with chicken, pork fish and shrimp, plus heapings of island-style rice and peas and callaloo on the side.

“Cool Rummings” punch and tropical bellinis will lubricate the festivities, and there’s a $30 all-you-can-drink option for those who anticipate being very thirsty.

DJ Andre Amadeus will spin reggae and dancehall tunes in the Asian-American restaurant’s lounge area until 5pm.

Jerk, “juice” and jams, no plane ticket required?  Count us in.
