Enrique Iglesias Is Coming to This Caribbean Island

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - April 5, 2016

Enrique Iglesias is coming to Aruba.

The music superstar will be headlining the Aruba Summer Music Festival, which will be holding its second-ever edition in June.

Latin stars Gente de Zona, Wisin, Chino y Nacho and Tito Nieves are forming the lineup for the festival, which takes place June 24-26.

“We’re excited to welcome visitors to this year’s festival, while showcasing popular artists on one of the largest stages in the Caribbean,” said Otmar Oduber, Aruba’s Minister of Tourism, Transportation, Primary Sector and Culture. “This event continues to be an integral part of our coveted Aruban culture, attracting more than 10,000 local and international guests last year.”

The festival is being hosted at the Harbor Arena in the downtown area of Oranjestad.

“Aruba is honored to have Enrique Iglesias visit our island, as his performances are loved by all. We are looking forward to an exhilarating festival for all our international visitors that will be attending the Aruba Summer Music Festival from more than 20 countries,” said Ronella Tjin Asjoe-Croes, CEO of The Aruba Tourism Authority.
