A New General Manager at Nevis’ Nisbet Plantation

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - April 4, 2016

One of Nevis’ top resorts has a new top executive.

The Nisbet Plantation Beach Club has named Tim Thuell its new general manager.

Thuell comes to the property after having previously served as general manager of the 36-room resort from 1990 to 1997.

Thuell was most recently the managing director of the Coral Beach and Tennis Club in Bermuda.

“I am thrilled to be back home at Nisbet Plantation Beach Club,” Thuell said in a statement. “I look forward to helping exceed the expectations of today’s affluent travelers and enhancing this one-of-a-kind vacation experience where guests can truly live in the moment.”

Thuell will provide “strategic leadership in managing daily operations, sales and marketing efforts,” the property said.

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Tim back to Nisbet Plantation,” says David Dodwell, owner of Nisbet Plantation Beach Club and sister property The Reefs in Bermuda. “As previous general manager, Thuell successfully led Nisbet Plantation in providing its signature service experience still enjoyed today by its large following of loyal guests. His familiarity with the resort and commitment to excellence make him the ideal person to continue the momentum and welcome new and repeat guests.”
