A New Hotel Is Coming to St Lucia

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 19, 2016

St Lucia’s room stock will get a boost this year with the debut of the new HarborClub [sic] on the Rodney Bay Marina, according to the Saint Lucia Tourist Board.

The 115-room hotel will include two restaurants, lounges, a full-service spa, a gym, a pool and 4,000 square feet of meeting and conference space.

The property is adjacent to the recently completed Dive Saint Lucia, what’s being billed as one of the Eastern Caribbean’s premier scuba diving centers.

It features two restaurants: The GourmetClub and the FoodClub, along with a pizza eatery, a “green choice cafe,” a lounge and a pedestrian-only thoroughfare between the hotel and the dive center called The Market Street.

According to hotelier Daniel Büchler, the plan is for a business hotel that is “less dependent on the seasons.”

It will also seek LEED certification.
