While Bonaire has great diving and beautiful water, it doesn’t have a lot of beachfront hotels.
The rare exception is the Sorobon Beach Resort.
The 30-cottage property, which is set on Lac Bay, recently underwent a series of upgrades to its exteriors and interiors, with the latter receiving a far more contemporary look.
It’s a laid-back, beachy place befitting its location, with perhaps the island’s best beach bar and a unique party piece: the cottages aren’t just beachfront — they’re built direcetly on the sand.
And that’s a serious amenity.
