A major new all inclusive resort is opening soon in Haiti.
The opening of the Royal Decameron could prove to be a major boost to Haiti’s nascent tourism sector.
The property is slated to debut Dec. 15 on Haiti’s Cote des Arcadins.
It will include buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner, unlimited alcoholic beverages (think Rhum Barbancourt), including wine and beer, and free non-motorized water sports, among other amenities.
The more than 400-room hotel is located at the former site of the Club Indigo and, earlier, the Club Med in Haiti, the latter once one of the most famous all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean.
Haiti has been on a significant push to develop its long-dormant tourism sector.
