A New Beach Shack at Jumby Bay

Jumby Bay, a Rosewood Resort, has a new “beach shack.”

The new culinary offering at the private-island resort off the coast of Antigua offers authentic Antiguan fare and Caribbean-accented cuisine from lobster and chicken wraps to rotis and fish ceviche.

The latter is featured in the shack’s own ceviche bar, which features everything from Shrimp ceviche with cilantro and red onion in a tomato lime marinate to Conch with pickled vegetable and basil; Lobster mango and lime.

The shack is also adorned with art by local artists.

“We are excited to offer guests a unique taste of the local area with the Beach Shack,” said Andrew Hedley, managing director of Jumby Bay and regional vice president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.”We are always looking for different ways to help our guests uncover the local culture and area, and the Beach Shack demonstrates our commitment to offering guests truly local, authentic experiences that perfectly complement the resort’s beautiful, natural setting.”
