It is the most expensive private island on the Bahamian market

It’s the ultimate dream of ultimate dreams: your own private Caribbean mega-island.

And Cave Cay is it.

The 222-acre island just might be the most expensive private island listed in the Caribbean for sale, set in the heart of the Bahamas’ Exumas chain near the famous Musha Cay retreat.

The property, which is listed for $90 million with Bahamas-based HG Christie, has everything from its own 2,800-foot private airstrip to an already-built marina to 20 existing bedrooms and 20 bathrooms across several buildings — and, naturally, classic Bahamian white-sand beaches.

“Cave Cay offers one of the best opportunities in The Bahamas to own an island that has both an Air Strip and a great Marina in the heart of the Exuma Cays,” said John Christie, who has the listing on the property.

The island’s Main House, set on one of Cave Cay’s highest points, has 360-degree views.

And if you don’t want to keep it all for yourself, the island is actually approved for commercial operation — meaning authorization for a hotel, marina and even comes with its own construction equipment.

The price works out to about $1,285 per square foot — or about less some penthouses on South Beach.

All yours. For a cool $90 million.
