CHIC Punta Canta, one of Sunwing’s adults-only Caribbean resorts, is launching a series of DJ workshops for its music-loving guests and aspiring performers.

The hotel has partnered with the DJ Dispensary to provide the three-day courses, which will be run by veteran DJ Matty Wainwright.

All DJ instructors will come with a minimum of 15 years of experience, prepared to teach lessons in theory, facilitate practical sessions, and equip participants with the skills needed to perform in front of a live audience, the company said.

This new concept complements the Sunwing Adults Collection resort’s “day-to-night party atmosphere,” with events ranging from pool parties with live DJ-sets, beach barbecues with Cirque-style arts, and performances from the resort’s house dancers, the CHIC Angels.

The first DJ Dispensary workshops will take place at CHIC Punta Cana from September 24-26 and 29-29.
