There’s a new hotel coming to the Bahamas.

The Island House, a 30-room boutique hotel, is slated to open next month in the tony Lyford Cay enclave of the Bahamian island of New Providence.

The property aims to boast an “artistic side of the Bahamas,” according to a statement.

“The goal of The Island House is to offer travelers a personalized Bahamas experience with unique programming, one they can’t find at more mainstream resorts,” said Lauren Holowesko, director of The Island House. “The hotel will embody the local spirit of the island; a place of celebrated food, esteemed art and overall wellbeing.”

The hotel will include a spa called The Bamford Spa, featuring everything from pilates to “AntiGravity Yoga,” along with a 48-seat cinema.

The property is home to the popular Mahogany House restaurant, which has been open since December 2010.
