The Sanctuary Cap Cana by Alsol all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic is transitioning into an adults-only property.

The change will officially begin on Dec. 15, 2015, the property announced.

“As a part of AlSol’s continued growth and portfolio expansion, Sanctuary Cap Cana by AlSol’s transition into an adults-only resort will offer guests seeking a fresh and lavish vacation experience an array of exclusive accommodations,” said Benny Guevara, director and owner of AlSol Hotels and Resorts. “In addition to our two properties, AlSol Luxury Village and AlSol del Mar, offering travelers the convenience of family travel, we want to provide a romantic paradise for Caribbean travelers seeking a sanctuary escape from their everyday lifestyles to celebrate their love for one another.”

Last year, the resort underwent a renovation across the property, including its five restaurants and four bars.

AlSol has two other Cap Cana resorts, both of which are available for families.
