Miami isn’t just CJ’s hometown. It’s also the gateway to the Caribbean, so we don’t have to go far for a little island flavor when we need it. Today’s cocktail recipe comes right from our own backyard at South Beach’s Sense Beach House, where The Local House bar serves up this jalapeno-spiked rummy refresher that makes every hour feel like happy hour. Is it five o’clock yet?!

Beyond Good & Evil

Ingredients

1                      jalapeño slice, muddled
½                     lime, squeezed
2 ounces       passion fruit purée
2 ounces       Bacardi Silver rum
1 ounce         triple sec
¾ ounce       simple syrup

Method

Shake all ingredients together and strain over ice. Pour into a glass and garnish with a lime wedge and a thin slice of jalapeño. Cheers!
