Trinidad and Tobago and Chile are looking to expand their cooperation in the energy sector.
Trinidad Energy Minister Kevin Ramnarine recently held talks with Chile’s Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, Fernando Schmidt, in Port of Spain.
The talks included the two countries’ relations specific to the energy sector, along with other “general matters” related to oil and gas, according to a government statement.
Chile is one of Trinidad’s largest trading partners within Latin America.
